Boston has been hovering atop my travel bucket list for so long, it’s sad I only had time to stop for lunch.
Faneuil Hall Market is located about ten minutes from Logan Airport by taxi and is the perfect place to eat and walk around a bit during a layover.
Our primary goal was to find a hot buttered lobster roll and a steamy bowl of New England clam chowder, and there were at least three restaurants inside the central Quincy Market that filled this need.

Lobster Roll and Clam Chowder
The combination of flavours was heaven. Nevermind that the food and taxi fare were shockingly overpriced, the market was so crowded inside that you could hardly move through, and there is no seating in the main hall. We pretty much had a picnic on the sidewalk in the dirt. Worth it.
We walked around Faneuil a bit longer, found many charming bars and cafes, and did some people watching until it was time to catch our flight.

We went wild at the shades boutique and traveled in style.
Bonus: This lovely contraption in the Boston Logan Airport.
I’ve began planning a proper visit now that I had a taste. Any suggestions?
